On the river at Locust Point.

The Locust Point project came about as the result of Hurricane Isabelle. The Hooke’s owned a place on the river and when the hurricane hit, the house actually ended up being part of the river at about 5‘ deep.
Once their house was totaled they needed to rebuild and had always wanted a timber frame. They called a few timber frame companies and after bids and interviews with Bob Hooke, we were chosen to work with them on the new house.
We only served as the timber frame providers for this job. The frame concept was actually initially designed by Bob and then we completed the design and moved ahead.
The frame is cut from “standing dead” Douglas Fir. One of the best things about this business is the people you meet and work for; Bob and his wife continue to be good friends to this day.

Great sunny, crisp day for erecting a Doug Fir frame with friends!
